In addition to reducing weight, industrial casters often have multiple wheels for increased capacity. In some cases, multiple wheels are used to reduce the swivel force required to turn a caster in one direction.

Using the right type of caster wheel for a particular application is important to the success of a project. The proper sizing is crucial to achieving optimal mobility.
